Our Purpose.

The Houston Tuskegee Alumni Association serves to connect and support alumni of Tuskegee University residing in the Houston area. We seek to foster a sense of community among graduates, organizing networking opportunities, providing scholarships and educational support to local students, engaging in community service, and promoting the values and legacy of Tuskegee University. 

What We’ve Done.

HTAA seeks to provide a way for alumni to stay connected, give back to our community, and support educational initiatives in our region. It is always great to experience the joy and community of #MotherTuskegee.

Our Impact.

  • The Houston Tuskegee Alumni Association supports both current and prospective students through scholarships and recruitment efforts.

  • The association organizes and participates in various community service projects throughout the Houston area. Past projects include volunteering at the Houston Food Bank, Houston Fire Department’s Annual Operation Stocking Stuffer Toy Drive, Sisters Network Annual 5K Walk, etc.

  • The Houston Tuskegee Alumni Association hosts multiple social events throughout the year that brings alumni, family and friends together. These events include networking mixers, fundraising galas, family outings, homecoming happy hour and volunteer projects.
